Anyone in the Upstate of SC or Western NC come and join ******, "The latest Nobel Peace Prize of the Southeast winner for Knowledge Beyond his Years" and "oldschol" for a ride from Columbus, NC (Spartanburg/Tryon area) to Deals Gap. We are planning to ride the Deals Gap, Tail of the Dragon and Cher. Parkway loop.

We are meeting up at the Texaco Station off Interstate 26 at Exit 67, Saturday morning around 8:00-8:15 and leave by 8:30 am at the latest. We'll ride I-26 to I-40 outside of Asheville then go through Waynesville and on into Deals Gap. Should be at Deals Gap a little before lunch.

Anyone interested in going, please post up and let us know and we'll have a Saturday that will be full of stories and tall tales.

Well I'm going to be coming from Tellico Plains to Deals Gap and should be able to meet up with ya'll around the noon time. Throttle Moma has backed out due to the cold front coming in and the low for Sat. morning is predicted 25 deg. F at Tellico. Coaster isn't going to make it and Hack hasn't decided completely the last I heard. I guess I will ride the Cherohala and then meet ya'll and head back through Robinsville and then 74 to Murphy and back home or I might stay with some kin in Murphy and come back Sunday.

We'll meet you at the "CROT", the store on the NC. I think it's actually called the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort, however it has gas pumps and a resturant. We should be there around noon, if not a little sooner.

Wish I could make this ride with ya but we've got a lot going on this weekend - 5 of us from the company have tentative plans to take off next Friday afternoon the 20th and head up that way - We plan to grab rooms somewhere Friday night - spend a good bit of time hitting those great NC roads and head home by Saturday night - I hope it warms up a little more then the forecast ya'll have for this weekend -

Guys I'm not sure exactly if I will get to make it to the store at the Gap, I may have to short track it to make my loop and get back home due to some work I have to get done by Monday, I worked till 10:30 tonight trying to finish a trailer and changing the oil in the scoot. If I ain't there by the time you get ready to leave just head on and I'll catch ya'll another trip. Ride safe.

Update: I got a few things done in the shop this morning so I should be able to meet up with ya'll, I'm leaving for Sweetwater around 2:00 and will spend the night there, so my time schedule will allow me to still be at the gas station in Tellico Plains at 9:00 Central time if anyone wants to join me. It will be cold but when you ain't had much saddle time you gotta go when you can. Be there or be square.

I'm not ******, "oldschol" here, however as far as I know, it is only ****** and I right now. I had a couple guys back out and I am still waiting on one other to call me and let us know if he is going.

We are meeting at 8:15 in the morning, if you want to go, post up or PM me and we'll wait on you, we would like to have you join us.
