well i finally used my bike lift from sears.i bought a 2x6 and cut in 15" sections and i wedge cut one for front tire.i rolled on it and used other for kickstand.i put bike lift underneath and addedlift adapters..part no.98965-99.i sat on bike and craked jack with my right foot till i got the bike lifted about 6" and got off.i proceeded to lift my bike .works great and i highly recommend it to anyone.next i will try to pick up my fatboy with it.

Are they needed in order to use the jack on Dyna's? Thanks
