Now this seat was made to fit

Preface: This is my 4th seat on the SG.
1. Stock
2. Sundowner Two-up
3. Sundowner Solo
4. The seat reviewed below.
Comfort-wise the Sundowner Two-up without a doubt comes in first. The C&C solo below comes in a very close second. The Sundowner solo comes in a distant 3rd and we won't even mention the stock monster. Style-wise this C&C seat beats them all It just flows with the Street Glides' lines and seems like it was poured over the frame. Read on:
It's a seat from C&C Seats that is made for Road Kings but also fits PERFECTLY on Street Glides.
Firm but very comfortable solo seat. Note how the seat actually extends further down the rear fender than most solo seats.
The one I bought is actually an ostrich patterned vinyl of very good quality which saved me over $400 from the real thing.
Going to buy the matching passenger pillion soon and have them put an ostrich print inlay on my fender bib and also have them re-cover my passenger backrest in the same ostrich pattern.
In the first two photos you will see how the stock seat just flops over the gas tank whereas in the 2nd picture you will see how the C&C seats follows and hugs the contour of the tank and panel.

RE: Now this seat was made to fit
Oh yeah: You can order in firm or medium firm variations. I got the medium firm and did a 185 mile ride the next day and loved it.
If you happen to be lucky enough to be in riding range of their location here in Paramount, Ca. they will let you try it on and take a ride BEFORE you buy. Can't beat that.
This one is vinyl as I stated but they also do exotics like real ostrich, alligator and stingray among others. They also do custom work and will build seats from scratch.
