RE: 32107-01D vs 32107-01E SERT
You need the Rev "G" CD (Software). Your Dealer should have it. Ask them. What they need from you is the hardware that is set to your ECM. They might ask for the software if they think they can get a few more $$$.
The Rev D harware should be fine. Don't know the difference in hardware but plenty of 06's have the Rev D. Hardware.

Sorry this is wrong. I have the same SERT he has and my dealer was having a problem with it not communicating with the bike. They called Harley Tech and found out that model # does NOT work with the '06's. They need to use the "E" version. Now unless MOCO has no clue what they are talking about???
I've got the new version coming Friday so I can exchange mine.

You could be right and I was guessing because the Rev E was not available until this year and I believe the forum has discussed the rev D and 06's. I certainly appoligize for any misinformation. I have Rev E on my 05 and reading the update information contained therein it only referred to software MT6 and the 06 closed loop. Nothing pertaining to Hardware. I must have missed that.
Thanks for you correction!

I just wished the damn thing worked..LOL I been waiting for my bike to be tuned so i could go to the local bikenight lastnight, but instead had to 4 wheel it there.
Oh well it'll be done by next week. I'm actually surprised the bike runs not all that bad with the new injectors and intake/exhaust done. I'm gonna stick the stock intake back on though until I can get back to the dyno.

RE: 32107-01D vs 32107-01E SERT
OK guys I just picked up my 05 Ultra after it's 10K service, tire and SERT. I have the Rev Ehardware and Rev G software.
My HD Dealer races Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys and has an in house R&D and Race Team. They applied my SERT and based on these posts today I asked a few questions. Here's their response:
1. SERT's are not being discontined
2. They won't comment on the problems others may have installing the 32107-01D on 06 models. T
3. hey have been installing 32107-01D Rev F MT5 on 06 models without issue before January 2007 when they started using the 32107-01E MT6.
4. Not all dealers are certified to install SERT's.
My take on this is check it out with your dyno guy and be confortable with them or move on.
It took my Dyno guy 6 hours to tweak my SERT and I have a stock 05 Ultra with K&N AC and 3" T-Rex True Duals. He said I was not that far off with the 127LF004 Cal ID that I applied in about 15 minutes
6 hours netted me Max Power from 63.87 to 69.71 and Max Torque from 71.04 to 75.94
btw: 6 hours @ $72/per = $432 or I guess you could say $72 per horsepower improvement lol
I hope this is somewhat helpful. That is my experience today.

RE: 32107-01D vs 32107-01E SERT
I just looked at everything that came in my SERT box 32107-01D. The box shows a manufacture date of 01/09/2006 so it was less then 3 weeks old when I purchased it to use on my new RK, so this SERT was still being shipped in Jan. 06. The CD in the box is 32117-01F. The hardware inside the box (The interface module)also shows a date of 01/09/2006 and Part# 32114-01A-SUBA on it's box and also on a sticker on the module. There is also another number on the sticker on the outside of the box # T 009. I would say that if the "E" hardware has the same numbers on it then there was no change to the hardware, only the software. So someone with the "E" SERT look at the hardware and tell us the number and date of manufacture. This might tell us if the hardware has changed. Obviously the dealers don't have a clue which is par for the course as I told them about the 25° injector bulletin which they hadn't seen yet back in February when it first came out.
