RE: 08 Road Glide HD lights suck
Wasn't that impressed with mine either. I thought 2 H4's would turn night into day, but it aint so.
Mine was way out of adjustment from the factory, and I have improved it a lot by adjusting the aim, but they still don't seem to have a lot of bright to them. I may up the wattage a bit, get a 55 / 80 or so, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to change out the lamps.

OK last night was the first time I had my RG out in total darkness. What is everybody else doing with there lights?
Using the european lights? or is there an other option?

I did six hours after dark last night. First time after doing the Euro mod. BIG difference, especially the high beams. Wish I had done it years ago.

I agree!!! My 03' suck the big one too! Put in Silverstars a few years ago and a little improvement. I think it's the design of the reflectors not concentrating the useable light directly in front of the bike...if you noticed they are kind of spread out to the sides in a fan shape.
Soon as I save up some money I'm going to invest in some HID's from motorcyclemetal.com. This forum has some great reviews onthis particular vendor.
Might be something you may want to look at.
