Headlight Visor Trim Ring Gap

Headlight Visor Trim Ring Gap
After reading here of the problems with the HD Visor ring, I ordered one anyway hoping I would get lucky. No such luck, I have the dreaded gap.
Does anyone know if someone else other than HD makes the visor ring? I can live with what I've got if I have to, but would like to explore theoptions.
I've done the search thing, and in some old posts, it was said that J&P has them, but I can't find one there. I put a piece of chrome pin stripe tape over the gap as someone else here has done. It looks better than the gap but I can still see it even if no one else notices.

RE: Headlight Visor Trim Ring Gap
I was able to get rid of the gap, by loosening the screw under the ring and pulling it as tight together by hand as I could. slipped a smaller screwdriver in to tighten the screw under the ring and then slowly re-tightning the ring while trying to squeeze the bottom together by had in between each turn of the screwdriver. Took a little time and patience, but if you get the trim ring all the way seated down and work slowly the gap can be elimintated.
Hope this helps.

I had the gap also. However, when I installed the ring, after the first few rides I would crank it down a few times, slowly.........I have no gap.
