Default Probably the dumbest question youll read all day

Will a loose primary chain cause vibration at highway speeds? The primary is noisy as heck on my bike, probably from lack of lubrication... but that was covered in another post. was out riding last night and when i got to 70-75 mph the bike started shaking like hell. I thought it was the front tire again, but I downshifted to 4th and it went away. upshifted again and it was back with a vengance. could a primary chain cause this? I dropped it off tonight to get the screamin beagle 21 tooth compensator sprocket, clutch spring (it had to be running hot, and that probably wasn't good for the spring) and automatic tensioner installed (wouldda done it my d_mn self, but my uncle decided I need surgery on my feet tomorrow) . I just wanted to know if that much vibration could be caused by thechain. Any input will be greatly appreciated. (even the stoopid ones.. its gonna be a long weekend [lots of pain+no riding] so i need someting to laugh at)
