On my last ride I had this motif on the tank. Don't know yet what to put on the soon to be delivered 06 Deluxe?

I have been in the market also for paint. I started on this forum and you will get a lot of links to look at. I am leaning towards a real flames paint job. My recommendation would be to approach painters as an interview and not a price quote. I have talked to at least six painters and most of them didn't have the same vision I did. Make sure you have someone excited to do your work. Good Luck.

I guess I am cheep. Hammerite Green with Hammerite blue flames. I got it that way. I am redoing the paint and It is going to Hammerite Purple. Someday I will have my son do the art as he is an awsome artist and he is 26 today.

I am in the process of learning so I can paint my own bike. I also know many of the top bike painters in the country. (not personally, but through other forums) I have been practicing my skills, and it is a lot of fun. Plain paint jobs are easy, but adding graphics is where the price goes up. I could refer several people, most of which have their own websites.

Here are a couple of my recent practice pieces.

Very nice job. I love the look of real flames. I have painted several cars but never any special effects. Keep up the good work.
