Most that own a '06 touring model are aware of the service bulletin regarding the motor mount issue. When changing to the new version (whichis manufactured with stiffer rubber) some have noticed an increase in vibration.I have personallyhad this experience with my SG. I even tried to purchase the old model after mine was changed out but couldn't find a dealer that had one in their inventory. I figured I would just learn to live with the new version that is until today!
Let me explain. In a recent postthe topic of vibration came up. There was a particular response from a fairly new member (RISGDUDE) that got my attention. He said that he was unhappy with the newer motor mount and his dealer suggested he replace it with a Buell motor mountthat was softer but stronger than the stock mount that came with the '06's. He tried it and reported good results so I asked him for the part #, ordered one and had it installed today. All I can say is, "WOW!!!" dramatic difference on my SG. I'd estimate a good 35% to 40% (at least) reduction in vibration. Especially at idle.

I replaced the motor mount with the new up graded chiness one, my bike vibrated my feet off the floor board, I took it back the the dealer I had to eat it it,s good enough for the 07 BS. I went to J@P and ordered one for half the price 20$ happy as can be.
