so i have been shopping the local dealers and found the bike for me! it is an 07 fxstc jake blue/elwood blue custom paint.

I got the dealer down to 15360. what do you all think?

have you seen the color in person? how much do you like it? He had to do a dealer trade so i have not seen it in person yet but i am pumped!

they are quoting me a black pearl NT for 14,100 + TTL. I wanted the black-out look on the engine, so it turned out to be cheaper that way.

yeah, the price is about 5k under list price for that bike.

 

Go for it if that's what you want. I seriously doubt your going to find another for that price anywhere, anytime soon.
I haven't ever heard of theJake & Elwood blue paint, but I have to admit itsounds interesting.

well now my employee is backing out so I may be up to 16,600 for it, but that is still a smoking deal.

 

Technically, I'd call $16,600 a decent buy ... I'd call $13,200 a smoking deal. A bump of 25% takes it out of 'smokin' range - But if you like it, who's counting?!

 

this is true. it has been downgraded from smoking deal to solid deal. I am going to have to push for some accessories now!

 

I almost bought a Jake and Elwood Fat boy, great color.
Damn wife didn't like it, she's not into Blue and Blue-Purple tint.

 

I am thinking I will need to actually see one in person before I drop the coin. this whole thing has me losing sleep because of excitement/anxiety/overthinking it!
