Problems in the softail section...
I really appreciate allyou guys/gals here on the Dyna forum. I've always gotten a lot of good advice andinfo here. I posted a thread over in the softail section about front brake rotor size and didn't get a single reply. What gives?! Have any of you had this problem? If I read a thread and can answer the question or lead the person in the right direction, I post a response. Even if it's a relatively simple question from a newbie. (It pretty much has to be simple for me to know the answer!) Ha ha!
Anyway, I just wanted to vent about those softail guys not helping out a fellow enthusiast. And THANKS to all my Dyna brothers outthere for all the help and input over the past several months!

Link the thread from that forum section into this post?
I've looked around several of the sections here and found that there's generally 4-5 folks that REALLY know they're stuff anf post frequently. A lot of folks like me asking dumb questions and whoring post count, then those that truly have no clue.
Sorry you got the bad ones.
I think nearly all the rotors are universal? I see a wall covered with them at the dealership and none of them have specific make/model #'s on them. Some bikes just have more than 1 for the front!

i believe HD parts always have a specification up in the right hand upper corner of the packaging and itll say "Multi-fit" or the specified model and years otherwise... i dont buy many HD parts but thats what ive seen whenever i go into a stealer, correct me if im wrong.

RE: Problems in the softail section...
I don't want to start any crap but I think the Dyna folks are more helpful too. I've run into some real butt-holes in some of the other areas. Maybe a lot of guy's on here had to start with a Sporty and had to work their way up. They couldn't just walk into a dealer and plop down 20 grand for a bike that takes 3 years to get to the 1K service. Just a thought.
