Street Glide rear fascia on Road Glide with tips
First, I need to thank RocketJockey for putting up with my PM's I sent him the last few days. I owe you a few drinks if you & I ever cross paths, Thanks Bro !
I was able to get the fascia on my Road Glide with OUT removing my tourpack. I also did NOT use the stud plates #59818-06 and drilled no holes in the fender. Instead, with a tip from Rocket, I used 3M fender tape. After cleaning the tabs with alcohol thoroughly,I put a little strip on each of the 3 bolt tabs on either side of the fascia to hold the sides to the fender.
NOTE: If I were to do this again for someone, I would put the fascia up to the fender and mark the location of where those tabs would be on the fender. Then apply the 3M tape to the fender first. It will make removing the protective film a lot easier this way.
Then you put the fascia support piece onto the lowest saddlebag bracket bolt on the inside of the fender. I was able to get the 1/2 nut off the bolt without removing the HD bar/shield on the outside of the fender tip. Then I carefully bent the metal bar out of the way to slide the plastic support piece onto the bolt. Then bent the bar back over that bolt and put the nut back on loosely.
Then I removed the #40 torx screw at the bottom of the saddlebag bracket and loosened the allen screw and the 1/2inch bolt on the same bracket. This will give you enough play in the bracket to bend it out a bit and slip the fascia over the bottom of the bracket. Then I put the torx screw back in finger tight. I then went to the other side and repeated the process to get that side onto the bracket.
Then all I had to do is clean the fender with alcohol andpeel the 3M backing off the tape pieces with a tweezer. This is where it will help out others by putting the tape on the fender first. This way you can SEE the tape and backing to peel it off. My way I was trying to look behind the tabs with about a 1/4 inch gap to see.
With the fascia in it's final spot, and you are sure the fascia support bracket is on the tab of the fascia correct, press the sides of the fascia onto the fender.
Done, it took about 1 hour.

RE: Street Glide rear fascia on with tips
I forgot about this part, since I have read that some LEDs have failed on the Street Glide fascia, I decided to add a little protection to the plug. With some clear silicone adhesive, I put a bead around the plug and also the wires going into the plug. May help, it may not. We'll see

Thanks Spike! Great tips and it looks saweet. I've got a Blk Pearl 06 and love it. Big diff from the days of VTXOA with my 1800C and also my Road Star Midnight. Would you be so kind as to email me the part numbers for the fascia and any other pertinent information for this mod? It'd be greatly appreciated.

RE: Street Glide rear fascia on with tips
OK, anyone know where this plugs in on a 2007??
I saw RJ's post about there being a plug under the seat, however, my plug/wire isn't long enough to get all the way under the seat, and I have the LED spoilers on the bags and tourpack. So that plug may be in use already
