Default Jetsceam Plus

i installed my Jetsceam Plus on my Ultra a couple of days ago. I finally got to ride a little last night. I could feel an improvement while accellerating. It was a very easy intstall. But I really need to brag on the company and their customer service. The company is http://rf2performance.com/. I spoke with Ray, the owner a few times. I either called him directly or emailed, either way was a quick response. I SCREWED UP MY FIRST ORDER. I ordered the part for the K&N stage 1 upgrade instead of the HD screaming eagle upgrade. I contacted Ray, and he was quick to ship out the correct part. I sent the part (my screw up) back. Ray was great to deal with and his product is well worth checking out. To actually find a company the has customer service and a great product. If you get a chance check it out.

I have bookmarked the website. I'm going to call them tomorrow and talk to them as I see they have one for a K&N 3909 filter and I'm interested.

Does this Jetscream gadget REPLACE the gasket that goes between the throttle body and the A/C backplate?

It doesnt replace anything. You just remove the air filter and the 3 bolts, and the jetscream drops right in. It comes with new bolts and then just replace air filter. I made the mistake of ordering the K&N stage 1 instead of the HD stage 1. It took 3 firemen to realized I had the wrong part.

Very easy to install

Have you noticed a difference with the addition of this product? I wish there website was a little more detailed and had at least a .pdf file I could look at.

I took my bike out for a quick ride last night, and it felt more responsive. I only rode about 12 miles in the dark and I was beat since she sent me to Walmart after 11 and I just had got back about 15 minutes earlier. 5am was getting here too soon. I hopefully will get out some more tomorrow night.

No offense by this statement. But I am not a fan of after market do-dads that claim to make your vehicle more efficent. If it was that easy the MOCO would have done it IMHO. They have leaned these bikes way to far, just to pass EPA standards, if it was just something as simple as adding something in the intake of the TB to make it more efficent, they would have done that straight off. More efficent = less emissions.....No offense, I understand why you bought it, just without some hard facts (dyno, mileage records), I will not be purchasing one myself. ( It kinda sounds like the tornado do-dad to me)

I am not one to bag on a product before I know anything about it, so don't just assume I'm one of those who scream "snake oil" every time something comes along that sounds too good to be true....BUT THIS IS ONE OF THOSE. You are probably just experiencing a 'placebo effect' that you think its running better, so it is...

The fact is when I had my bike dyno tuned by Mike Roland last month, he had one of these on the table outside his dyno room, and I asked him about it. He told me he was sent it to evaluate its claims and it actually brought down the hp slightly due to the slight air restriction it created in the intake tract....just as he suspected it would before putting it to the test on the dyno.

I had been running a similar product called the 'turbulator' that got junked at the same dyno session for doing the same thing. Putting any obstruction in your intake tract is a negative...the best you can do is open it up and radius the corners for smoother laminar flow.
