Dealer sold my bike to me with rotors on opposite sides. Will this hurt anything or what? He said that the factory told them that it reduces brake noise and all of their bikes on the floor are done this way. Has anyone seen thisor experienced anyone that does this? Thanks.
My rotors are reversed, no more squeel! Except, when I roll the bike backwards, out of my garage and apply the front brake. That's no lie! But that's not a bad trade off.
Mine used to squeal terrible, but after they reversed the rotors, no more squeal!!! Except when rolling it backwards out of the garage like Streetrunner said.
I had mine reversed too and squeal problem taken care of. As for squealing when going backwards, I solved that problem too!! I don't ride it in reverse anymore.[8D]
I was all set to reverse my rotors, but I have ABS and the sensor ring (exciter ring) is rivited to the left rotor. Guess I have to stick with noisy brakes.
