Default SERT vs. PCIII vs???

This seems like an on-going debate.
Not only that, but people's opinion's have changed since I bought my 06 wide glide.

My dealer (and other CT local dealers) always said SERT. (Mar. 2006)

The local shop guys said PCIII. (Mar. 2006)

By readin here I was convinced to get the SERT. (Winter 2006)

My dealer is now sayin to go with the PCIII. (May 2007)

I'm looking for the long term.
I just got some cycle shack slip ons, that's it.... but I got some plans.

I also heard that he 06 Dynas were SO LEAN that they do not need the additional air flow because
the fuel management systems cannot even compensate for them.

Probably not gonna sell my bike. (ever).

So which is it fellas??

PCIII, SERT, DFO, BIG SHOT, Thindermax makes something??

Let's hear it.

i wanted the SERT but it was out of stock for several weeks, went with the PCIII, no problems, the dealer dialed in near perefect without the Dyno...dyno'd just today (1000 mile service) , feels better...tightended the throttle play...no problems. I'd still be waiting for the Sert.

I like my TFI - simple; no downloads, dealers, etc. Bike is happy, I'm happy!

Didn't click any of them you listed. I use a Daytona Twin Tech TCFI 2 which you didn't have in your list. My opinion the 2 best units available are the TCFI 2 and the Tmax.

my two cents. I have PC111 and used the download from the company. The bike runs fine.
Harleys don't do the quarter mile in nine seconds no matter what you put on them.

Here's a link to Nightrider.com that explains the differences between SERT, PCIII, and others.

http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/m...m#summarytable

Also, the PCIII cuts out the O2 sensors on the 06 Dyna's which provides the feedback to the EFI.

I bought a PCIII USB but never installed it. I went with the SERT instead, and I'm very happy I did. I didn't like the fact you eliminate the O2 sensors with the PCIII.

Is there something people dislike about the Arlen Ness kit?
