One Joker on here posted "Just today I saw this stunning red Deluxe and it had these redonkulously ginormous bars that ,in my opinion, completly ruined the bike.Am I missing something? Every time I see a bike like that It just screams POSER!"

I love the look of apes, but I have some medical issues (arthritis in both shoulders, torn tendons in and around rotator cuff, bulged disks in neck...) that make tall apes very uncomfortable for long rides. Mini-apes are a good compromise for me. Not quite the look I like, but I can ride all day in comfort.

In reality, I'd guess that most of use are more poser than hardcore, regardless of what type of bars we have.

I have to agree with you. I used to ride year round. Though the ice, snow andrain, nothing kept me off of two wheels. Now that I am almost 40, I have realized that I have a car for that!!
I hate to admit it, but I have become a fair weatherrider[:@].

Never ridden in snow or ice, and never will. Rain does not bother me unless it is flooding the streets.
