Electraglide to Roadglide conversion complete!!
Hello all, Well almost comlete. My EG started life as a 2000 EG Classic, added some chrome here and there, drove her 12,000 miles mostly Europe and NW USA. Decided the Batwings days where numbered and started researching the swap, i have linked to all the search answers concerning EG to RG below. My bike started like this

RE: Electraglide to Roadglide conversion complete!!
Man your fast to respond, thanks a bunch, I'm going to use this rod to ride with the women to Sturgis this year, first time and been waiting 25 years to get out of the military so i could have the chance.
I said almost complete, the bar mounted fog lights are not totally working, OK they don't work yet. I wired them using the stock foglight kit and was hoping the EG classic "spot" switch could be used to power them vice the chincy little pushbutton thingy. I thought I had it figured, but stupid me, i go and throw the fairing on before i checked them. My take on the spot switch is it has a feed from the low beam circuit, a ground wire which is the ground for the little green light in the switch which lights when the switch is turned on, and another wire to feed the foglights.I used the feed wire to feed the relay circuit in the foglight kit, I guess not, back to the drawing board. The little green light doesn't come on either, so maybe have a wire backwards...Also, I'm still not happy how the foglights ride on the bar, they seem a bit angled being far enough out not to hit the RG fairing bracket, guess I'll make a spacer for them while I'm at it...
The Oil temp guage from SW works great.I had to drive 10 minutes for it to come of the bottom, but I'm in AZ and don't expect it to take that long when it's 118...
Some last thoughts, Mobil 1 oil rocks. I use syntec in the clutch, Mobil 1 74w-90 in the tranny, and Mobil one for V twins in the motor, talk about night and day for shifting ease and quite. Prior to M1 in the motor, i ALWAYS had two or three knocks/piston slapsas the enginestarted upfrom being cold and not driven for a few days. After M1, It sat 4 weeks, started first time silently, well, you know what I mean...
