96 ci running too rich?
My '07 Bob has a rich smell to it after I shut it down, almost like the smell of racing fuel burning. I installed V&H Slip-ons, a Fuelpak & a K&N Filter...still get that rich burn when I turn it off. I'm not sure if it's a characteristic of the new 96 ci engine or what b/c it smells the same before & after my mods. Anyone else notice their 96 ci with this characteristic?

RE: 96 ci running too rich?
if you over fill it, you will get the smell. also, pull the plugs and see if you are running too rich. Had my UCdyno'd with a SERT, and there evidently was a problem with the dyno or more likely the mechanic. was running way rich: poor fuel mileage, fuel smell, black plugs, etc. took it back, and had it re-dyno'd and a new map built (no charge of course). bike runs great now, and no fuel smell. I see that you have a fuelpack, so wonder if you also have it too rich? again, pull the plugs to verify.
