Default (Next Cal Meet & Greet) Where?

OK, maybe we should take a vote to see where we should go. Those that would be able to attend an Orange County event, where should we meet?

I'm just gonna watch....

I'm from up north a bit so I don't know any of the places first hand. That said Biker Joints aren't my usual hang outs (except for the Forum) so I couldn't tell you about places up here either

I would have said the same thing a few months ago. I'm an engineering exec at a defense company and my wife is a CPA -- yes, more of the non-stereo typical "bikers" or the "new Harely Owners" or maybe even the "Wild Hogs" type, but Cook's is truly a come one come all biker bar. It caters to Harleys, Metrics, and even to bikes that are missing a few cc's (bicycles). Everyone seems to be at home there, even an occassional group of future bikers (kids)and I have never seen anyone falling down drunk or even a single altercation take place (not that they don't) -- just wanted to let you know that it really is someplace you should visit next time you find your way south.

I hit almost every one of these spots on our ride last Sunday. I'd have to say that Cook's would be the best suited size and location wise.

It's not really the "Biker" thing its the crowds...Hubby and I are just not crowd people (ok mostly Hubby isn't). So we look for theout of the way stuff.

Although I voted the Hideout - mainly for the ride- Cook's is probably the best choice.

I didn't vote because I haven't been to any of those places. Any of them will work for me as I just want to get together again. I'm glad it's in the south as the return trip from Malibu was a bit much for wifey-poo. I enjoy the whole trip but I need a shorter run so wifey will go again.
