Default New Pics of my Springer

Well, I put forwards with 3-inch extensions on my '05 spinger classic as well as v&h big shorts. I've worked on metric bikes in the past but this was my biggest Harley project yet. Took the floorboards off and needed to put a longer brake line on because of the 3-inch extension. I have to say I rarely looked at the instructions. Maybe this is the result of the many years Harley has been building bikes. It's just that intuitive. And only 1 busted knuckle

Anyway, I hope you like the pics. I'm real happy with how it came out and the bike is soooo much more comfy now that I can stretch out some [sm=burnout.gif]

Thanks for the comments. Thought about the whitewalls. I thought they'd look good had I left the cross-over exhaust on and maybe went with finned end caps. But now that you mention it it might look pretty good with the short exhaust as well. At the rate that I've been putting the miles on (about 4k in just 2 months ) I guess I'll be considering it fairly soon. This guy at work wouldn't happen to be 39 and married to this...

That'll make your morning!

Those V&H really make it look different. I only have one problem with your bike, it's not sitting in my yard next to my Springer, they would make a good pair. I like the retro look of the Classic Springer.

Thanks for the comments guys. I only got to ride for maybe 100 miles since I installed everything but that's enough to get the idea. Pipes are loud but they still need to be broke in. I couldn't be happier about going to pegs. Aside from being more comfortable it's so much easier to handle the bike when parking or backing it up for any other reason. Those floorboards really get in the way. It's not huge but it was a pleasant side effect I hadn't thought of.

Nice ride man...and those pipes are the cat's meow.

I'm thinking of putting some V&H Big Shot Shorts on my 93 Fatboy. These Samsons are nice but I want a bigger diameter and shorter set of pipes.

Thanks for the awesome pics and please post more when available...
