Stainless Steel Hardware
I have decided to change out those crusty rusty stock HDallen bolts and possibly the rest of the fasteners on my "06" street glide with polished stainless steel fasteners. Two companies come to mind, Diamond Engineering and Gardner Westcott. Both make kits and seem like they carry a good product. Has anyone here had any dealings with these companies and their products? Good, bad or indifferent your comments are always appreciated..............BG

Here's another place you can check into, according to a couple of Hot Rodders around here its supposed to be a decent place to do business with. But I have no directpersonal knowledge of them.
Worth a look anyway,

Let us know what you find, your not the only one looking and may find something new.
BTW every one I have checked out seems tobe fairly expensive, but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

Stainless steel hardware ain't cheap. I did my wife's Dyna and I'm in the process of doing my Fat Boy.
If you have an Ace Hardware nearby, they have a wide selection of stainless hardware. I polished them up to look like chrome but they never rust.
You can expect to spend a minimum of $100.00, probably a lot more,to do the job.

RE: Stainless Steel Hardware
A few years ago I did my sportster with Diamond Engineering products. They were outstanding but not cheap. The company was great to deal with and made sure I got everything I needed. I'm trying to get in contact with them to do my Roadking but their website is down. Does anybody have a phone number for them?
Thanks,
Adam

I agree that stainless is agood option, but too much heat and they discolor. I'm not saying don't do it, just buy extra of the ones that will be in very high heat areas (ie; around the flanges on your exhaust, etc)
