lookin for a good indy shop in southern/central NJ or Philly area
I'm lookin for a good independent shop with a dyno in the new jersey/philly area. I want to address my fuel management issue(running lean) this winter along with a few other small odds and ends and would much rather give my money to a small business owner then the stealership.
a friend of mine recommended "Screamers Custom Cycle" in Woodbury.
does anyone have any experience with this guy......
Thanks

I live in Philly and I use Freedom Cycles in Wilmington Delaware. 35 - 40 minute drive from Center City philly. They hooked me up really good. Had the bike dyno-tuned and got back 3 Hp.

22,000 register users (200 + online at this very moment)...........I'm sure more than 1 person in the northeast has an experience to share about an indy shop (or a really good dealer) that they have dealt with.

Is your bike carbed or injected? If it is carbed I'd recomend the guy I use-Bike Works in Glenside,PA.Not sure about their fuel injection services. They have been in the same place for about 25 years. The owner Ron is a super nice guy that really knows his stuff. Not sure if they have a website or not.Located about 1 mile from the Philly city limits. The business is right on Route 611(Easton Rd.)If you look on any Philly map you'll see that Route 611 is a major road so no worrys about getting lost. Here's the phone number-215-885-3633.The address is 25 S. Easton Rd. Glenside PA.Not sure of the zip.Call them up.Maybe they can help you.

Reading this thread is making me homesick. I'm born and raised in Philly but now, unfortunately, reside in Suckgusta, GA. So if you're ever down this way don't bother with Augusta HD. Drive the few extra miles to go to Harley Haven in Irmo, SC. They are top notch!

I'd check out "Toxic Cycles" in central jersey. The owner Rob Tusay builds custom bikes & is known to be excellent with performance work. Office number #609-758-0533---Cell 609-977-9343.

I haven't used him, but at Freehold Bike Night ran into a young lady with flyers saying Doug Keim (Creative Cycles), off the airport on 34, does work on H-D's in addition to his custom work. I've used Long Branch H-D and been happy.
