My financial situation has taken a turn for the better. Im now able to keep my sporty,and to think a couple of weeks ago i had it for sale and was considering buying a jap bike.I hope im never in that situation again,because i dont want to ride anything but my sporty,although if i had to i guess riding a jap bike is better than not riding at all..

I have had struggles in my life and my situation is slowly getting better!! I am hoping to buy a touring bike in 2008!! I am fairly partial to the Road King. I think it would good parked next to my sporty in the garage!!
Just keep plugging away and spend less than you earn and things will slowly take care of themselves

 

I remember reading your thread a few weeks ago about maybe having to sell the bike.I'm glad to hear things a have taken a turn for the better.Way better to keep the Sportster than ride something you really don't like.

Thanks to all! the best part of it- my bike is paid for and i have a title so its not hurting me to keep it..but it also has a down fall--the wife seems to think that since its paid for that its there to sell if we ever need the cash..i fought with her about this and it was a lose-lose situation for a while till we got things straightened out another way..

man does she take rides with you? My wife all she did was complain about the MC til i got her a helmet and took her on rides through the country. Now i have to fight to get time in with just me on the bike. We were hard up for cash a bit ago, my wife said no way were sellin the bike. And my allotment for ad-ons to the bike increased 10 fold.
