Default What is a fair price for my 05 deuce

I am thinking of selling my Black 2005 deuce, it only has 800 miles on it. What would be a fair price? It has a new Mustang seat, back rest and a detactable windshield, condition of the bike is perfict. Im am thinking about buying a 2007 Heritage. Is there to many bugs in the 07 and maybe I should wait until 08

Thank for your help

Seems like a big hit to pay if you're only ridin' 400 miles a year...

I'm hoping not to take to much of a loss, I purchase the bike from Harley last Feb. Do you think $18,000 is to much to ask?

Two things:

I'd buy a new Deuce before I'd give anyone $18,000 for an '05 no matter how lightly used

Everyone's different, but there is no way in hell that I'd want a Heritage over a Deuce

I was looking at an 05 Deuce w/2000 mi at a dealer for 15, but I bought the Springer instead. There are alot of used bikes out there.

Just glancing thru ebay completed auctions, I saw a nice 05 deuce w/1300 miles, no damage, some extras with a 14k opening bid completed with no bids. You are picking the worst time of the year to do this. Based on the limited information I have, I think a fair price during the winter season for your 05 is 13-14K. That is if you want to sell it. I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear.

Good Luck.

I was looking at a used '06 at a rather high-priced dealer two weeks ago. The '06 had 1,500 miles on it and was in showroom shape, their asking price before negotiations was $14,995. The bike sold at that price in 3 days.
