Default custom toolbox

here's what I did to rid myself of that ugly grey trim and gain a little storage too....

I had a buddy fab up a small toolbox that opens in the front with a lock....he also does powdercoating so I had it done in satin black (the same color I plan on doing my wheels and spokes in). I just used the existing holes in the battery cover to mount to. There's room enough for a multi-tool, extra pair of glasses, etc.

thanks.....no, my leg goes right over the top of it. I guess I am long-legged enough that my knee is still bent enough even with the fwd controls that the toolbox is not in my way at all.

i'm not sure what i think of that. the idea is fantastic but i would think that it would look funny, this big square thing sticking out the side. i think i'd need to see it in person. like i said, the ideas is right on!!

i wonder if you could bevel down the edges.....or maybe just the corners....that might change the look just enough.

i think hitting it w/ the wrinkle black would really help it blend in.

actually, w/ the wrinkle black....i think i like it a lot more!!
