Wild Harley Night Rod Is a Unique German Custom
This custom Night Rod, built by X-Trem, looks like nothing else on the road.
Standout Build
In terms of German custom motorcycle builders, Thunderbike is perhaps the most well-known, but X-Trem is right up there in terms of quality and contest as well. And what's particularly interesting about the bike scene in the European country is that both of these companies build not only cool customs that rival the ones emerging from American shops but also pretty wild machines that don't look like anything else. Case in point - this Night Rod, which X-Trem calls "Laguna Seca."

Race Inspired
Yet another custom Harley to bear the name of the famous race track, Laguna Seca fitting presents a motorsports-inspired theme throughout. That starts with a white and black color scheme - just like a checkered flag - as well as a whole laundry list of aftermarket and custom parts to set it apart from a very large crowd.

Perfect Stance
First, X-Trem got the stance right by adding a progressive suspension with a matte-black shock, which also helped make room for a beefy 280/35R18 rear tire mounted on a 9.5x18-inch wheel. Then, they added a variety of custom body parts including the fenders, airbox cover, radiator cover, and tank.

Bring the Noise
On the performance side of things, X-Trem gave its Night Rod build some extra juice and noise courtesy of its own Grand Prix 2-in-1 exhaust system, while the rider cruises around in total comfort thanks to a cozy-looking Alcantara and leather seat with diamond stitching.

Color Change
To round out the unique color scheme, a slew of parts - including the brake caliper grilles, water pump grilles, pulley cover grilles, control levers, footrest mounts, shift arm, brake arm, and handlebars have all been plasti-dipped.

The final, random pieces of this cool custom puzzle include the ever-popular side license plate holder, Speedfighter handlebars, Spike grips, an LSL riser, Iowa headlight, and Kellerman 3-on-1 turn signals.

Breaking the Mold
Put it all together, and you've got a seriously unique, seriously cool custom Night Rod build that stands out thanks to its rather bright bodywork. And while it may not be everyone's cup of tea, we can certainly appreciate the fact that X-Trem isn't just churning out replicas of the same old, boring bike every day.
