World Premiere

In the expansive world of custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles, it's getting harder and harder to stand out. But companies like Germany's Thunderbike are doing a fine job of cranking out cool and unique customs on a seemingly regular basis, thanks to a host of innovative designs. The latest is the brand's new short Daytona Body Kit, which made its debut on this Street Glide dubbed Gray Eagle.

Host of Upgrades

This particular build was commissioned by a customer who brought their Street Glide FLHX straight to Thunderbike for customization. Needless to say, it rolled out of the shop looking like nothing else on the road, thanks to a laundry list of upgrades aside from the aforementioned bodywork.

Adjustable and Comfortable

The slick-looking ride is adjustable and comfortable out on the road thanks to Thunderbike's air ride suspension, while it rolls on a large 26-inch Thunderbike Daytona front wheel. Those hoops are wrapped with Vee Rubber 120/50-26 rubber for a killer look.

In the Family

Thunderbike also supplied most of the bodywork, including Gray Eagle's Alu Daytona tank, Daytona front fender, EFI cover, front fairing, Malteser mirrors, LED Zepplin II turn signals, bagger taillights, and powder-coated front end.

Nice Mix

There are a couple of Harley parts mixed in, including the oil cooler cover kit, Screamin Eagle tune, and head bolt bridge, but most everything else comes from Thunderbike's extensive catalog, including the ignition and derby covers, air cleaner, front fairing, brakes, and grips.

Rounding It Out

Rounding out this tasty combination is a select group of goodies from CycleSmith, including the banana boards, brake pedal pad, shift peg, and foot pegs.

Standing Out

Add it all up, and you've got one killer and wholly unique custom Street Glide. In a world of cookie-cutter bikes that oftentimes look the same, Thunderbike once again came up with a cool two-wheeler that truly stands out, and that's not the easiest thing to do these days.
