Thunderbike Makes a Fat Boy Even More Imposing
Thunderbike churns out another cool ride in the form of this custom Harley Fat Boy 114.
Aggressive Nature
While custom Harley builds can vary greatly in terms of theme and appearance, one of the more popular routes is to add aggression - after all, we are talking about motorcycles that have forged a reputation for being loud, rebellious, and in-your-face. In that regard, German outfit Thunderbike has certainly mastered the art of building imposing bikes, the latest of which is this - custom Fat Boy dubbed "Big Force."

Different Approach
Thunderbike takes a bit of a different approach with its Fat Boy builds than most shops, as it likes to retain the model's stock tank and fork fairing so that it's still recognizable as a Fat Boy - a logical thing to do, given how iconic this bike is. From there, however, it went all-out making this particular example a true one-off that's different from everything else out there.

Blow It Up
To start, the company disassembled every single nut and bolt on this Fat Boy before powder coating all of its chrome in the ever-popular black. It then added a single-sided swingarm to the chassis, an air ride suspension at both ends, chopped fenders, and Big Speed wheels measuring 23 inches up front and 21 inches in the rear.

Other Features
Other enhancements include a nose spoiler up front, forward controls, ape hangers, and a glossy black paint job with unique graphics, which was laid down by Thunderbike's paint shop of choice - Kurse Design.

In House Upgrades
As is typical with Thunderbike builds, this one features a full catalog of parts from that same company, ranging from its turn signals to forks to chin fairing, ignition coil relocation kit, tank cover, seat, and fender mounts, to name just a few.

Stopping Power
Thunderbike even provided the braking system, which consists of Streetmaster discs with a floated 300mm caliper to help slow this beefy bike down in a hurry. Essentially the only part that didn't come from the German company is its air cleaner, which is a Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather Elite piece.

Perfect Cruiser
With Big Force, Thunderbike was aiming to create a cool, sinister-looking, yet comfy to ride Fat Boy, and from what we can see, they clearly accomplished that mission with ease. We can't imagine a more subdued yet awesome two-wheeler that we'd want to cruise around town in, particularly since this one is still easily recognizable as a Fat Boy.
