Mix and Match

German-based bike builder Thunderbike has churned out some pretty amazing rides in recent years, successfully proving that the world of custom Harleys is alive and well all over the globe. And since they've built so many two-wheelers over the years, Thunderbike has learned a thing of two about mixing and matching styles. That much is clearly evident with this particular build, dubbed GP-Style.

Many Changes

The GP-Style starts out life as a humble Harley-Davidson Breakout, but it's so completely different by the time Thunderbike gets done with it that you'd be hard-pressed to tell. This is one heavily customized two-wheeler, one that draws inspiration from the builder's Grand Prix Concept yet with a healthy dose of modern flair.

Mostly New

Unlike the Grand Prix Concept, however, this bike utilizes the stock frame and 114 cubic-inch Milwaukee-Eight powerplant. Regardless, most everything else has been replaced with new, custom parts, as we have come to expect from the German company.

Dual Purpose

That laundry list includes a single swingarm with a huge perimeter brake, fork bridges with an integrated Breakout speedometer, a DLC coated fork, and Brembo brakes, which both look good and add a nice bit of functionality to this gorgeous riding machine.

Finishing Touches

A set of ultra-light Digger wheels perfectly complements the bike's lines, and the raised GP Style exhaust helps the M8 sing its glorious song at speed while also looking quite nice. To top it all off,  Kruse Design handled the wild custom paint job sure to get this Breakout noticed from as far away as the eye can see.

Working Together

Throw in an air suspension, and you've got one killer ride worth showing off everywhere it goes. The devil really is in the details when it comes to the GP-Style, as every little part present here is worth an elongated look. But at the same time, all those little pieces come together and work in harmony to create a fantastic overall look as well.

Something for Everyone

But then again, considering the fact that Thunderbike has been doing this for 20+ years now, we probably shouldn't be surprised. The custom bike builder has a mind-numbing number of options available, so no matter what your particular taste, there's bound to be something there to tickle your fancy.
