Standing Out

It's no secret that Harley-Davidson as a brand has its fair share of fans all over the globe. This includes Japan, where custom shops like Bad Land are cranking out amazing bikes that rank right up there with America's best. One such ride is what the shop calls Zoso Blood #2, a heavily customized Fat Boy that truly stands out from the pack.

Rolling Stock

The first thing that's apparent about this particular build is its wheels - a set of 120-spoke stainless TTS units from Germany that measure in at 3.5×18" up front and 8.5×15" in the rear. They're wrapped with a Firestone 4.50-18" piece of rubber up front, and an Avon AM21 Roadrunner 230/60B-15 in the rear.

Nice Mix

One-off springer forks give the bike a bit of an attitude, along with ape handlebars, Ken's Factory grips, and a couple of OEM goodies including the tank and headlight, which were somewhat surprisingly left alone, even though they look like they belong.

Custom Bits

Bad Land took care of a number of custom goodies present on this Fat Boy, however, including the meter dash, seat base cover, rear fender, exhaust, and license plate bracket, which are all one-off bits that help give the bike a truly unique look.

Finishing Touches

Wrapping up the build are a number of various other additions that include a Ken's Factory engine rocker cover and engine cam cover, a W&W Cycles air cleaner, and a custom paint job by Smooth Line. Meanwhile, the stock Milwaukee- Eight powerplant remains.

Right Combination

Put it all together, and it's clear that Bad Land is worthy of putting its builds up against the best the world has to offer. With a nice mixture of custom parts, OEM goodies, and aftermarket bits and pieces, it's also a fine example of what good taste can do for a factory Fat Boy, too.
