Exclusive Trike

Making Motor Company history, the 2020 CVO Tri Glide is the first three-wheeler to join the exclusive ranks of the Custom Vehicle Operations. Billed as the “ultimate custom trike with all the premium touring features imaginable,” the CVO Tri Glide is a limited-production, super-premium ride.

Wheels Up

The Motor Company states that the CVO Tri Glide was designed “from the wheels up.” While it does share a common chassis and bodywork with the other Tri Glide models, the rest is all CVO. Aside from the custom paint and accessories, the CVO Tri Glide gets the largest displacement engine Milwaukee has to offer, and a trike-specific Reflex Defensive Rider Systems.

Biggest Mill

Harley-Davidson reserves its largest displacement motors for the CVO models. The Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 117 is the biggest engine to exit the Motor Company factory to date. Cranking out a whopping 125 foot-pounds of torque, the CVO mill features Blaze Red accented Rocker Box Lowers with Screamin' Eagle logos. A Ventilator Air Cleaner provides fresh air and complements the uncluttered look.

Daymaker Enhance

The CVO Tri Glide gets darkness-defying LED lighting all around. “See and be seen” with a seven-inch, black background Daymaker Signature Reflector LED Headlamp, and four-inch Daymaker Signature Reflector LED Auxiliary Lamps. The Daymaker series offers “superior nighttime performance” with a bright-white natural daylight color that enhances and amplifies the “reflective character of highway signs and lane markers.”

Trunk Junk

The 2020 CVO Tri Glide has a massive cargo capacity. The integrated power-locking trunk can hold up to 4.4 cubic feet of luggage, with an additional 2.4 cubic feet in the Tour-Pak. If the ample cargo room is not quite enough, the Tour-Pak comes standard with a chrome Premium Tour-Pak Luggage Rack. Lighting up the rear end are a couple of Layback LED Tail Lamps along with a Tour-Pak Spoiler LED Light.

Heated Throne

The CVO Tri Glide rivals the best La-Z-Boy has to offer. Plush, Premium Heated Seats with a new CVO stitch design and passenger speakers translates to riding comfort and longer hauls in cooler weather. Visible on the trunk lid is the jaw-dropping paint in Black Stardust with a three-stripe Magnetic Gray & Wicked Red graphic pattern. Other small CVO touches include new smoked mid-frame air deflectors.

Wheel Reflex

Style and enhanced ride safety is at the forefront of the CVO Tri Glide. The three-wheeler rolls on new cast aluminum Tomahawk Contrast Cut Wheels with a wheelbase just a touch under five and a half feet. The new trike-specific Reflex Defensive Rider Systems features “technology designed to match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and braking.” There is also a Vehicle Hold function and a tire pressure monitor.

Audio Performer

The Boom! Box GTS is a rolling sound stage. Equipped with a four-channel, 300-watt RMS amplifier and four two-way speakers at 75 watts per channel, the infotainment system is controlled wirelessly via a Boom Audio 30K Bluetooth Headset. The infotainment system supports a variety of USB connected media including SD Card, Flash Drive, and MP3. Familiar, easy-to-read analog gauges include a speedometer, tachometer, fuel, and voltage meter.

Kahuna Connection

The CVO Tri Glide gets a full-on custom treatment from fender to fender. It features the stylish Kahuna Collection accessories with standard heated grips, floorboards, and passenger mini-boards. Chrome switch covers house the backlit hand controls and billet mirror mounts. Cruise control is standard along with a security system that is enhanced by H-D Connect — a subscription-based service intended to link the rider and trike at all times.

Premium Competitor

Harley-Davidson has built a game-changer with the CVO Tri-Glide. Riding a three-wheeler is learning a curve, even for an experienced rider. The new rider assisted technologies and linked brakes will help with that process. While the Can-Am Spyder and Polaris Slingshot offer some competition in the three-wheel category, nothing comes close to the premium finish and traditional styling of the Motor Company's latest Tri Glide.
