S&S Debuts 131 Cubic-Inch Stroker Kit for Milwaukee-Eight
S&S looks to boost your M8's output with a brand new stroker kit.
Powerful Solution
While Harley's Milwaukee-Eight powerplants are pretty potent right out of the box, many owners (as they always have) immediately look to add power, sometimes before they even ride their bikes off the dealer lot. Thankfully, as it has been for some time, S&S Cycles offers a solution in the form of this new 131 cubic-inch stroker kit.

Prime Components
The new kit, when paired with the separate but required 4.625-inch stroker crank, includes forged pistons, 4.25-inch cylinders, piston rings, a 0.045-inch multi-layered steel head gasket, and a 131 cam cover badge.

Significant Gains
Power gains are impressive, as S&S proved on a stock 114 cubic-inch M8 in its Street Glide test bike. Stock, the M8 produced 81.07 horsepower and 111.71 pound-feet of torque, but after the stroker kit was installed, the bike laid down significant gains with 146.62 horsepower and 145.45 pound-feet of torque.

High Quality
The S&S 131 M8 kit is also comprised of high-quality components, with much tighter tolerances and better quality parts than what's included with the stock motor. And for those that want their bikes to look as good as they run, the stroker kit is also powder-coated and available in a variety of finishes.

Fit and Finishes
Those options include a Wrinkled Black finish with highlighted fins, a Wrinkled Black finish with non-highlighted fins, and Black Granite with highlighted fins. It's also worth noting that the stroker kit works with the M8's stock crankcases and retains the stock engine height for a perfect fit.

Reasonable Cost
Regardless of which finish you opt for, the S&S 131 cubic-inch stroker kit features an MSRP of $1,299.95, while the separate-but-required 4 5/8-inch stroker crank costs an additional $1,529.95. But that seems like a reasonable price to pay considering the significant power gains this kit provides.
