Now, MoCo itself has launched a convenient way to find the next gently used bike of your dreams - H-D1 Marketplace. So what makes it different than every other used bike site out there? Well, you can search every single used motorcycle for sale at every single dealership, which is impressive, indeed.

Youth Movement
One of the biggest reasons Harley is pushing used bikes is because it's a great way to get younger folks on the saddle, which is something the company has struggled to do in recent years. Truthfully, it isn't a bad strategy, as used Harleys often represent a great value, particularly for those that simply don't have the money to buy a new bike that might otherwise look to another brand. H-D1 Marketplace is also a great way to dip a toe in the increasingly digital world, too.

The H-D1 Marketplace platform will connect our customers, community, and our strong dealer network, with the goal to become the largest marketplace for pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the United States."

Useful Options
There are a number of benefits to buying a used motorcycle through H-D1 Marketplace as well. For starters, customers have access to H-D Financial Services, so they can easily apply for financing when they find the next ride of their dreams. There's also a "Sell My Bike" feature that gives owners an easy way to sell their own motorcycles directly to a dealership.

Certified Rides
The H-D1 Marketplace also highlights motorcycles that are part of the Harley-Davidson Certified program, which have been subjected to a comprehensive 110-point quality assurance inspection by certified Harley-Davidson technicians and are sold with a 12-month factory-backed limited warranty on the engine and transmission and benefit from new motorcycle finance rates and terms.

Fun and Expensive
For now, the H-D1 Marketplace is only available in North America, but it seems as if it will eventually expand to other parts of the globe as well. In the meantime, those that reside in that continent have one heck of fun (and potentially expensive) way to kill some time looking at the massive number of rides that are currently available.
