HD Introduce New Models and Rider Aids For 2020
Features such as Reflex Defensive Rider Systems and H-D Connect will come as standard on some models for 2020. This, coupled with some new additions to their lineup, could make it a good time to trade up.
Low Rider S: Performance
Harley-Davidson fans looking for some extra performance are sure to see the Low Rider S as a welcome addition to the lineup for 2020. A rigid-mounted Milwaukee-Eight 114 will propel this model: a step up from the 2019 Low Rider's Milwaukee-Eight 107. The Softail chassis has been paired with beefed-up suspension components, like a 43mm inverted fork which houses single-cartridge internal technology: so you can expect sharper handling thorough the corners. The brakes got some extra oomph too in the form of an extra 300mm disc at the front.

Low Rider S: Control
Harley's engineers also wanted to give Low Rider S riders a greater sense of control. So, on the S model, you'll find a reduced rake of 28 degrees when compared to the 30-degree rake on the 2019 standard model. This, coupled with the raised motocross-style handlebars, should give rider's all the control they want to manhandle this beauty. Prices start at $17,999.

H-D Connect Service
The H-D Connect service keeps riders connected to their motorcycles via their smartphones and the dedicated H-D Connect app. This service allows riders to check things like battery charge, fuel levels, range, software updates, and riding stats. Users of the app can also monitor their motorcycle's safety via the tamper alerts feature. The service is free for the first year but will start costing you after that and will be standard on select models for 2020.

Livewire
Okay, whether you're a Livewire fan or not, you've probably heard enough about the model throughout 2019 to last a lifetime. And, although it appeared to launch several times at various events over the year, it's officially available from select dealers in fall of 2019. It will become available in more dealerships throughout 2020. The first production electric Harley-Davidson will get from 0-60 mph in three seconds flat and have a range of 146 miles in city environments. Prices start at $29,799.

Reflex Defensive Rider Systems
Select models in Harley-Davidson's 2020 lineup will come equipped with Reflex Defensive Rider Systems (RDRS), and it will also be available as an option on other models. RDRS is designed to give Harley-Davidson motorcycles maximum levels of traction when accelerating, decelerating, braking, and cornering. The latest chassis control, powertrain technology, and electronic brake control systems are all used in tandem when possible to allow riders to find the limit of available traction.
