Super Slim
For years now, German custom bike builder Bundnerbike has churned out some of the more unique rides we've ever laid eyes on. That tradition continues with this rather interesting build - a custom Harley-Davidson Softail Slim that's now known as "The Artwork."

Sinister Look
Today, this Softail Slim S is a far cry from what it used to look like, however, as it has been treated to a veritable laundry list of upgrades. All of that adds up to a pretty sinister-looking machine, one that features a blacked-out appearance that only complements its many upgrades.

Simplicity's Sake
Despite its many upgrades, this build's theme revolves around simplicity, which means that it's clean and devoid of anything that isn't necessary, as a bobber should be. However, the massive 330mm tire out back required some modifications to the frame, though we'd say the resulting look was worth it.

Cushy Ride
As is the case with many custom bikes these days, The Artwork rides on an air suspension that allows the owner to lower it down for looks and raise it up for bumpy roads. It's complemented by a set of beefy Brembo brakes, which makes stopping far quicker and easier than stock.

In-House Parts
From there, Bundnerbike added a long list of its own custom bits and pieces to make this build truly unique, which include the air filter with its own logo, the tank, a side-mounted license plate bracket, and a rather cool set of handlebars, to boot.

Looks and Sound
As for the powerplant, well, that seems to have been left mostly alone, save for the addition of a Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhaust system, but that's pretty typical of builds like this one - after all, it's all about looks and sound here, not raw speed.

Old and New
We've certainly come to expect big things from Bundnerbike, and the German shop delivered with this Softail Slim build in every conceivable way. Combining old-school simplicity with new-school design makes for a pretty nice look after all, even though it seems risky on the surface.
