Big Money Build

In the world of custom motorcycles, it's not terribly uncommon to come across builds that are chock full of pricey upgrades. In many cases, owners throw the proverbial bank at builds in an effort to create something special, with the cost of parts and labor oftentimes exceeding the price tag of the motorcycle being customized itself. That's certainly the case with "Radical Rider," this custom Street Bob from Thunderbike.

Revised Example

In this case, we're looking at Radical 2.0, a follow-up to Thunderbike's initial Street Bob build, which in this case features a slew of updates. The idea was to give the original Radical a cleaner, more "technical" look, all while retaining the classic lines that make these bikes so cool in the first place.

Dramatic Changes

Along with adding an air ride setup to get the Street Bob lower to the ground, Thunderbike also added its own custom fork, coupled with Blade Runner handlebars, along with radial brakes up front, a speedometer riser kit, an Unbreakable headlight, LED turn signals, Phantom E-grips, and Montana round mirrors.

Middle Portion

Moving toward the rear, we get a better look at the custom aluminum tank, along with Thunderbike's own custom seat, drilled footrests, shorty exhaust system, Power Filter kit, and a dressed-up powerplant that features custom air filter and ignition covers.

Visual Ante

As is customary with most Thunderbike builds, the license plate was relocated to the side for a cooler look, too. A new swingarm was added, along with Velocity Midnight wheels and a floated rear brake disc that also ups the visual ante.

Keeping It Fresh

Add it all up, and you've got a pretty pricey but certainly awesome Street Bob, one that clearly stands out from a sea of similar builds. However, that's also what we've come to expect from Thunderbike, which continues to defy the odds by creating fresh designs with each and every new build it churns out.
