Spanish Sportster

In recent years, we've begun to see more and more custom motorcycles emerge from shops that aren't located in the U.S., which is rather interesting to see. After all, Harley-Davidson is a distinctly American company that is also one of the more iconic and longest-lasting brands present in the States, but its appeal is clearly a global phenomenon. The latest example is this custom Sportster Street Tracker, which comes to us from Tripleme Motors - a shop located in Barcelona, Spain.

Regular Visitor

Interestingly, Tripleme happened upon this Harley Sportster in a rather unusual way - it was a regular in the shop, where its previous owner took it for maintenance. However, before that could happen, they wound up selling it for something else, though the person who purchased it then took it back to the shop - this time, for a full-blown customization.

Custom Bits

The goal from the outset was to make this Sportster look like a proper street tracker, which called for the construction of a custom subframe, a new swingarm, and an adjustable Ohlins shock. The forks were sourced from a Suzuki GSX-R750 K8 and mounted upside down, while Pirelli MT 60 tires frame a set of beefy brakes from Gixxer.

Engine Mods

From there, Tripleme got to work modifying the Sportster's stock powerplant by adding an S&S carb, a new air cleaner, an upgraded ignition, and a pretty sweet-looking custom exhaust system that's been wrapped with heat tape and fitted with mufflers that exit underneath the back of the seat.

Custom Body

As for the bodywork, well, it's completely custom, and totally transforms the look of this Sportster. LED lighting helps modernize the bike, and works perfectly with the one-off fenders, tank, and two-piece seat.

Notable Additions

There are many other details to note here, ranging from the flush filler cap on the tank to Renthal handlebars, bar-end turn signals, flipped mirrors, aftermarket switchgear, Brembo levers, and all-new electronics that Tripleme wired up itself, too.

Worldwide Appeal

Add it all up, and you've got one truly unique, impressive creation that would hold its own against the finest custom motorcycle builds on earth. Additionally, it's just further proof that while Harley will always be a proud American company, its appeal stretches far beyond those borders, too.
