Box 39's Custom Night Rod from Russia
Placing ample emphasis on the design of the wheels, Russian custom bike shop Box39 has been building unique custom V-Rods.
From Russia With Love
For the past decade, Russian custom motorcycle shop Box39 has been putting their own unique touches on well-known Harley-Davidson creations. They certainly have an affinity for V-Rods. So much so that they've designed a whole category of custom Harleys and they've named it Giotto. At the moment, there have been 19 builds under the Giotto umbrella.
Giotto 7
The custom H-D featured here is Giotto 7. The folks at Box39 have given a major overhaul to the Night Rod that this creation is based on. Obviously, the body has received a fresh redesign that gives it an edgy look, a lot more like a concept bike than a custom Harley. And importantly, the wheel design adds a ton of character to the overall aesthetic.

Outside-The-Box
Measuring 21 inches in the front and 18 inches in the rear, these wheels have as creative of a design as we've seen. And the Russian shop invests a lot of time and effort into selecting the correct wheel design for their custom creations. In fact, one could say the guys at Box39 are specialists when it comes to outside-the-box wheel styles.

Jaw-Dropping Wheels
For Giotto 7, the wheel design features cool-looking small hexagonal cavities that take the place of traditional spokes. Interestingly, as much attention as the wheels command, they still do a nice job of complementing Box39's concept bike-esque body lines.

Futuristic Body Lines
Speaking of the body, the main panel covers the tank and is extended through to the seat and all the way back to the taillight. The bold character of the custom Night Rod's styling is accentuated by the unique creases in the body panels that give it a mechanical and organic look all at the same time.

Rounding Out the Look
The flowing forms of the body panels is contrasted by the precise look of the mechanical elements of the engine, giving the bike a modern design, with hints of cyberpunk styling. Everything is given a matte finish, which adds to that modern aesthetic.
