2015 Harley-Davidson Street 750

In this day and age where simply walking out of the house costs money, it's obviously quite hard to find what one might call a good price on anything. Luckily, those looking for a used Harley-Davidson motorcycle can still find a bargain or two out there, starting with the 2015 Street 750. This much-ballyhooed (at the time) urban cruiser didn't really resonate with the youth, but that also means that today, one can score a nice example in the $3,000-$5,000 range, making it a heck of a bargain for those who don't need to ride long distances.

2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883

Next up, we have the Sportster 883, a vintage-styled ride that can also be had for less than $5,000 these days. Despite the fact that it's nearly a decade old, give or take, the 883 still looks great to us, and has a plethora of modifications available to boot, making it a bit of a blank canvas for customizers.

2013 Harley-Davidson XL1200C Sportster Custom

The same goes for the XL1200C Sportster Custom, a sub-$5k ride that comes with a bit more grunt for those seeking a thrilling daily rider. It's also a perfect blank canvas for customizing, as owners can add on parts as their budget allows, too.

2018 Harley-Davidson Street 500

Much like the Street 750, the Street 500 was designed with urban riders in mind, and as such, it won't blow anyone's socks off in terms of performance, However, it's light and compact, making it great for first-timers or those that just need a cheap, $5k ride for tooling around town.

2013 Harley-Davidson XL883 SuperLow

Those seeking a bit more of a traditional Harley style can opt for the XL883 Superlow, which is another solid choice for beginners thanks to its low-slung ride height and easy-to-reach controls - great for shorter folks. It also comes equipped with plenty of chrome, for those that prefer the shiny look to today's blacked-out trim pieces.

2008 Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob

Of course, there are a couple of $5k or so bikes out there on the larger side, and that list includes the 2008 Dyna Fat Bob. This more muscular-looking ride has more presence in that regard, with fat tires and copious amounts of power from its 1,584cc V-Twin that makes it perfect for all kinds of riding situations.

2009 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic

Finally, we have arguably the best value on this particular list - the 2009 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic, which offers up a whole heck of a lot of bike for around $5k on the used market. Sporting timeless, vintage style, plenty of power, and loads of comfort for those long-haul trips, it's hard to find a better value out there these days, that's for sure.
