5 Heaviest Harley-Davidson Cruisers On the Market
These are the heaviest Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the brand's current lineup.
Heavyweights
Harley-Davidson has long held a reputation for building large, comfortable cruisers, among other types of motorcycles, of course. However, most associate heavy two-wheelers with the iconic brand, and for good reason - they build some pretty darn nice ones. One thing we rarely stop to think about is just how heavy some of these bikes are, which is precisely why we've assembled this list of the current H-D models that tip the scales with numbers higher than the rest.

5. Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114
First up, we have the Fat Boy 114, a chunky but cool cruiser that tips the scales at a hefty 671 pounds. The Fat Boy certainly lives up to its name with that kind of weight to move around, but the heft also adds up to a cushy, comfy ride when one just needs to head out on the highway for a long cruise.

4. Harley-Davidson Road King Special
Then there's the Road King Special, which weighs a total of 807 pounds. This touring machine gets much of that weight from its bevy of equipment, including a larger frame than the standard motorcycle, a bigger saddle, floorboards, and other features that make it equally nice to drive long distances.

3. Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special
The Road Glide Special is hefty for many of the same reasons, tipping the scales at 853 pounds thanks to its saddlebags, fairing, and the same big touring frame as its brethren in the lineup. Of course, all of that stuff is also what makes this particular model pleasant to ride, too.

2. Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited
Then there's the Ultra Limited, a 917-pound heavyweight with a focus on comfort and long-distance travel. Along with saddle bags and a fairing, the Ultra Limited is equipped with a windshield to keep the bugs out of one's face - and protect against buffeting - while its weight keeps the bike even and straight on the roads.

1. Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide Ultra
As one might imagine, the heaviest motorcycle in Harley's current lineup is a trike, as that extra wheel certainly adds a few pounds to the mix. In this case, the Tri-Glide Ultra tops them all with a curb weight of 1,243 pounds, but it's also an incredibly well-equipped touring machine with loads of amenities and cargo space to boot.
