Step 1 – Inspect the rim

It could be bent.

A possible cause for a tire leak is a bent rim. This could happen from a perfectly angled hit to a curb, even at extremely slow speeds. Look around the rim for any inconsistency. If you notice a bend, then you may need to take the bike in. The tire shop will remove the wheel, remove the tire, and fix the rim.

If the rim is in good condition, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 – Check the valve stem

It could be leaking air.

It's not uncommon for valve stems to leak a bit of air. Visually inspect the valve stem for any uncommon gaps around it. If you can't spot the issue, use water to pour on the stem, and if you see any bubbles, then you've found your problem.

If the valve stem is not the issue, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3 – Inspect the tire

It could be worn or cracked.

Visually inspect the tire for any cracks, wears, bald spots, or uneven wear. You can use the water method to spot bubbles. However, a visual inspection can solve your issue most of the time. A worn tire can't really be fixed, as it just needs to be replaced; however, a tire worn unevenly could indicate other issues, such as bad shocks.
