After the pipes and the T-Max, it was time for the seat! I used the police solo, V-Twin pogo system, and the Crossbones frame cover. Everything came together pretty well, and we only needed to modify the Crossbones frame cover to get everything to fit.

The old lolipop lights look a lot more at home than that LED brake/turn light that was on there.

These are the 33-inch version. I was hoping to get the 30-inch ones, but they weren't offered. My Springer 'tails would dig in when backing down out of the toy hauler if not careful. These would likely give me issues. The fishtails bolt on, so I can always just remove them if needed.

Eric made this cool stand to hold all the tins. The tank has a screw holding it at the back and the fenders are fastened onto a small piece of 2x4 that has one drywall screw running through it, down into the upright 2x4s. That way he could spin the fenders to reach everything more easily.

The combinations are almost endless that will look good on a Harley, but this teal with metal flake was calling my name. It's more green than the Duo-Glide we were using for reference, but it pops with the white paint.

As luck would have it, there's a paint supply store a block away from his house. We used the "ShopLine" basecoat/clearcoat, which is made by PPG, we hear.

We made a "tent" out of an EZ up and some plastic and connected it to a fan and filter out the window. It worked pretty good and kept overspray to a a minimum. Eric also has a gravity-feed gun, so that helped too.

We left the plastic on the white grips so they wouldn't get too cruddy as we're still working on the bike.

Kinda hard to see, but the spokes have a little bit of shine to them. Better than before, so I'll call it a win.

I'll likely bring the front wheel home tomorrow so I can clean up the wheel and the spokes while I'm putzing around the house. The back wheel will wait until another day.

New bars are on the way, and we'll measure for a new front brake line once they are installed.

This was the extent of what rust we could find. Looks like it sat outside, but there is minimal rust elsewhere.
