Default Fat Bob Rear Tire Question

Hey guys, been a member for a little while but I don't ask many questions because I can usually find my answer just by looking, except this one. My 2012 fat bob needs new tires bad, I have over 16,000 on the original. I want the Metzler ME888 but they don't make an exact size match. Stock tire dimensions are 180/70B16 but the closest the ME888 makes is 180/65-16. I have no mods done to the fender so I don't see clearance being an issue at all. Would it be ok to go with the 180/65? Any problems, or negatives to doing this? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help answer my question. I'm also considering the ME880s but I am having a hard time finding the front tire in stock and I like the idea of a longer lasting tire with the ME888. If any one has comparable experience with both these tires on the fat bob or in general I'd also like to hear about it. Once again thanks.

Yes, 180/65 will fit. It will be about 1/4" shorter overall. I am need of new tires as well and want to run the MC II but I have to get a radial and not sure how that will ride.
