? on re-chroming a wheel?
Has anyone had a wheel re-chromed?
I assume that I will have to remove the bearings, on my front wheel, before sending it to a chrome shop.
My concern is that if there is any chrome buildup in that area the bearings would not fit back in.
Any info on having this done will be appreciated.

We get wheels rechromed regularly. It looks like you have aftermarket wheels on your ride. What brand are they? After market wheels usually have a separate hub portion so if the part of the wheel that needs new chrome is on the rim itself the hub will not have to be rechromed.
The bolts that hold the hub to the wheel are under the rotor. Check that out. Chrome build up in the center of the hub has never been an issue for us. We do wheels all day long every day.
