Default New 18" Anarchy wheels on a '14 FLHXS

I just ordered a 2014 FLHXS and spec'd it out with a number of options, one being the Anarchy 18" wheels, front and rear. How much, if any, will these wheels add to the height of the bike? I didn't really think about it until I got home after signing the deal, then I started to think about the 16" rear that'll be replaced by the 18" wheel. Will this do much if anything to the way the bike sits and feels while riding?

Thanks for any info you can share,
Scott

If the 18" tire is the same overall diameter as the tire on the 16" wheel it wont change the height. You'll just have less side wall on the tire. So you may have a tiny bit harsher ride and a little better handling. Probably not enough to notice though.

The rear will actually sit a little bit higher but the front is 18 stock so that will be the same. I'd say 1/4" to 1/2" higher in the rear than stock. Most people would never notice if they did not know.

I have Anarchy wheels on my 2010 Street Glide. I measured the new wheels compared to the old 16s and the difference was negligible. No noticeable change to ride height or speedometer reading.

The sidewall of the 18 inch tire is "shorter" than the sidewall of the 16 inch tire so there is really not much difference in rollout (measurement around the outside of the tire) between the two.
