Default HELP!!! 21x2.15 with 3/4 timkens,

I just came across a killer deal on a brand new 21x2.15 60 spoke wheel for 60 bucks. Anyway,it has 3/4 timken bearings in it. I have an 07 flstn and as u know 07 is that stupid year for softails. My lower legs are for 25mm 16" wheel. After searching for 3 days the best and unsure way to make it work is to.....
1) have long 25mm OD part of of existing axle turned down to 3/4?
2) I keep comin across these 25mm to 3/4 rrducers but cant ever tell if they are to be inserted on both sides of wheel (which wouldnt work) or inserted into the outside of the forks?

What is the best route to take here? Can someone please clarify this????

I would be inclined to buy a new (or secondhand extra) 25mm axle and get it turned to fit your new wheel. You may well also need new spacers, to complete the installation. Those reducers are no use to you for your problem. If you had 25mm bearings and wanted to install it on a bike with 3/4" axle they may work.
