OK so Im not very knowledgeable on this subject so I figured I would ask all you guru's on here. I have an 05 Night Train with the 21" laced front wheel. I just found a matching set of 9 spoke mag rims from a 94 sporty for cheap with 2 new tires mounted but the front rim is a 19'. So I have 2 questions 1. While they swap over to my bike? and 2. Would going from 21" to 19" affect anything negatively such as handling, rake and trail??? anything i need to watch out for or should i just stick with stock

 

1. No, not easily. Your bike has ball wheel bearings, the 94 has tapered roller bearings. The hole in the centre of your rotors and pulley are larger and won't work on the 94 wheels. I don't think the rear will work at all, but not sure about that. If you want to change wheels and have an easy time doing it use a set off a similar model year softail.
