New cast wheel/old brake rotor is that a problem
i got a new 2013 rear cast wheel to replace a spoke/tube set up.
My rear brake rotor disc has 25k highway miles. It's not bent or warped and runs good on the old wheel.
I'm putting the old rotor disc on the new wheel. Got new screws as per the book.
I notice in the manual how it stresses to re-install the disc in the same position on the old wheel but I'm putting it on a new wheel.
Is it a no no to transfer old disc to a new wheel or am I over thinking it.

I don't know how long brake rotors typically last on these bikes, but for the cost of a new or newer used rotor, at 25k it would probably be worth it to just replace it. Remember, in a type of motorized vehicles, working brakes is pretty much the most important thing you have.
food for thought.....thanks
