Default Replacing Spokes

If I de-lace my stock wheels can I replace the spokes with aftermarket fatter spokes on the same hub or will only stock size spokes work?

Will the fatter spokes fit through the OEM hub? Probably not.

Only one I know of that makes spokes for direct replacement is Buchanans. But I don't don't believe they do fatties, you can call them, it says they do custom orders, but IMO for what they charge for the spokes and the spoke spool and labor involved I would just buy some wheels from Ultima. They look great and are very affordable.

You could try a powdercoat. I am not sure how much larger in diameter that would make them.

IIRC stock wire spokes are butted, in other words the hub end is larger in diameter than the rest of the spoke. If so spokes as fat along their whole length should fit without problems. However you have an offer worth following through!

Have you relaced a set of dna fat spokes. I am in a position to coat a set of these right now but don't want to dis assemble before I know it can go back together. I have read that these cannot be trued. Just wondering if there is any truth to that. PM me if possible
