Avon 240 versus Dunlop 240 tires

Avon 240 versus Dunlop 240 tires
I would like some advice from riders that have experience with 240 tires. I'm replacing factory Dunlops with either Avon AV72 Cobra or Dunlop E-3. I've been told that the Avons will last longer and give you a better ride. Anyone used either tire? Thanks, Azz
